The carefully curated rooms showcase the various stringy, smooth and fine grained almost silk like textures of the tree bark through the layered use of nubby and fine textiles.

The wood grained tiles designed in a herringbone pattern hint at the peaks and valleys of the retreats heaven kissing summit location.

Soft leather seating juxtaposed next to rough hand forged iron tables mimics the balance found in the environment.

Project Insights

Designing the interior of a mountain retreat requires careful consideration of the natural surroundings and the desired aesthetic of the space.

In this project, we aimed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that harmonizes with the rugged mountain landscape. We used natural materials like stone, wood, and leather to create a rustic yet luxurious feel. The focal point of the living room is a large stone fireplace with comfortable leather seating.

The kitchen features custom cabinetry and two large islands, perfect for entertaining guests.

The bedrooms are designed to offer a cozy and peaceful sanctuary, with comfortable beds, plush linens, and stunning mountain views.

We incorporated plenty of natural light and used a neutral color palette with pops of color to create a serene and inviting environment.

The end result is a mountain retreat that blends seamlessly with its surroundings and offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
